Fromholz selling "Leonard" - 1951 Martin D-28. . .
Yep, you heard right -- Steven's selling the guitar that's written over 200 songs. Why? He's playing other guitars and banjo now so it's time to find a new home for a legendary guitar that's traveled many, many miles. No doubt about it -- if you've ever seen a Steven Fromholz live performance you've met "Leonard" as Steven purchased the old guitar in 1971 at GTR in Nashville, Tennessee!
If you're interested in giving Leonard a new home call South Austin Music in Austin, Texas, and ask for Billy or Sean -- they've got the guitar there waiting for you to take a look -- it's not only a fine guitar but comes complete with enough history to write a book!
Our www.stevenfromholz.com site receives a lot of inquiries on Steven's career, what he's doing, where folks can find his music and stuff that happened way back when (with a career spanning 45+ years there's a lot of history). They also like to share their memories of special concerts, gigs and even parties and outings which Steven attended (seems a good time was always had by all!) So, we're going to address all those questions (and answers) here where we can all contribute. Send us questions -- if you got 'em -- and, of course, all the pictures you can scare up!
Pictures are better than a thousand words so we'll try to post a lot of them -- send us your Fromholz-related pics and if it's not illegal or totally immoral you'll see it in our picture section. (Don't forget --when you send us your pictures you're automatically giving us permission to use one or all of them on this website at our discretion! We'll do our best to give picture credits as space permits.)
So...this is the initial "mission" of this site and hopefully you'll find it interesting, you'll participate and come back often. We're all excited about Steven's new CD release "Texas Trilogy Goes to G'Nashville" so read on!
